My name is Saralyn Mast. I am from Lancanster, PA. I have three older brothers. My oldest brother Daniel is married to Becca with a little boy, Ryan. Joshua is attending Penn State University. Matthew is working in PA and has a little daughter. I am currently traveling with my parents, David and Karen, serving at different retreat centers, camp grounds and other places through MCC's SOOP program. We are living in a 5th-wheeler and traveling along the eastern boarder helping out several places my parents have chosen. I graduated from Lancaster Mennonite High School this past spring and went straight into serving with my parents. The feeling of knowing I can help someone else out with the skills I have is incredible. I love seeing the expressions and hearing the gratitude they have for what you have done. Traveling has been a huge part of my life and I love experiencing new things, adventuresome is probably a very good word to describe me. Outdoors is my favorite place to be. Sometime I feel like I take for granted the things God has given us, one of them is definitely fresh air. I was recently in the hospital for a couple days, I had appendicitis, and I thought about so many times how I just wanted to get outside and breath in fresh, crisp air! It made me really think about what God has gifted us with.
